7,000 New Restaurants Added to OneBigPlanet's Loyalty Program.
January 5th, 2006 -- New York, NY - OneBigPlanet Corp. announces today that 7,000 new participating restaurants have joined the OneBigPlanet family of merchants, now reaching 127,000 strong.
Now, on top of receiving up to 50% off on 15 categories of discounts accepted at 120,000 participating merchants, constituents of participating organizations will be given the opportunity to purchase $25 Dining Certificates for only $10, accepted at over 7,000 restaurants.
Constituents of a participating OneBigPlanet organization will surf the Dining Certificates Web Site to select a restaurant of choice. After having read all the details about every restaurant, such as food choice, ambiance, hours of operation, view pictures of the restaurant, they will be in position to make a choice. They will then purchase a $25 certificate for only $10 online, present the printed certificate at the participating restaurant and voila… dinner will be served… at 60% off the regular price!
As part of the OneBigPlanet Loyalty and Fundraising Program, each participating organization receives a customized Benefits Web Site. Now, on top of having several links to various benefits including dining, movie, travel, hotel and shopping discounts and much more, the organization’s Benefits Web Site will feature a Dining Certificate link easily accessible and integrated to the technology platform.
Constituents will not have to change their shopping habits. On the organization’s Benefits Web Site provided by OneBigPlanet, constituents will simply click on the new Dining Certificate tab to purchase discounted Dining Certificates immediately, right there online.
The Dining Certificates will be offered as an additional benefit to constituents of participating organizations. Not only will they provide additional value to their constituents but they will also earn 10% royalties on Dining Certificate sales. Sales will be tracked through the Member Card # using a technology system. Commissions on royalties will be paid quarterly.
